PELR Program Explores Current Issues and Trends in Impact Investing

A recent Private Equity Law Report webinar explored the issues facing investors and PE sponsors who want to make a positive social impact while generating alpha. The program, entitled “Current Issues and Trends in Impact Investing,” covered the development and definition of impact investing; measurement of impact; due diligence; fund structures; potential regulatory landmines; and the use of side letters. The discussion was moderated by Rorie A. Norton, Editor of the Private Equity Law Report, and featured Ellen Kaye Fleishhacker, partner at Arnold & Porter; Christine Looney, deputy director of the mission investments team at the Ford Foundation; and Raúl Pomares, founder and managing partner at Sonen Capital LLC.
