Sidley Austin announced the expansion of its London office with the addition of Mateja Maher as a partner in its investment funds practice. Maher joins from a private capital advisory firm focused on fund placement and secondary advisory services, where he served as general counsel. His practice will span fund formation efforts across illiquid private fund products, ranging from PE, buyout and venture capital to infrastructure, real estate and debt.
